Do you know if the foods you are eating on a daily basis are giving you all the nutrients your body needs to stay healthy?

With today's diet I would venture to guess the answer is no.

So what are the benefits of Vitamins?

Vitamin A:

  1. Prevents skin disorders, such as acne, wrinkling and age spots.
  2. Enhances the immune system – protects against colds, flu, and infections to kidney, bladder, and lungs.
  3. Maintains and repairs the mucous membranes (all tissue that interacts with air, such as lungs, throat, eyes, etc.)

Vitamin B Complex:

  1. Enhances memory, concentration, judgment, learning capacity and prevents mental deterioration.
  2. Helps maintain health of the nerves; anti-stress.
  3. Lowers Cholesterol and improves circulation.
  4. Converts carbohydrates, fats and proteins into energy.
  5. Necessary for healthy sleep patterns.

Vitamin C:

  1. An antioxidant helps to prevent cancer.
  2. Protects against infection and enhances immunity.
  3. May reduce levels of “bad cholesterol” while increasing levels of “good cholesterol”
  4. Promotes the healing of wounds and burns.
  5. Helps maintain growth of teeth, bones, gums, ligaments, and blood vessels.
  6. Aids in the production of anti-stress hormones.
  7. Vitamin C is required for at least 300 metabolic functions in your body.

Vitamin D:

  1. Supports bone and tooth formation.
  2. Supports muscle and thyroid gland function.
  3. Necessary for the absorption and use of calcium and phosphorus.
  4. Involved in regulation of the heartbeat.
  5. Important in the prevention and treatment of breast and colon cancer.
  6. Enhances immunity.

WARNING: Some cholesterol-lowering drugs, antacids, and steroid hormones interfere with Vitamin D absorption in your body.

Vitamin E:

  1. An antioxidant that is important in the prevention of cancer and cardiovascular disease.
  2. Improves circulation.
  3. Retards aging.
  4. Necessary for tissue repair.
  5. Reduces blood pressure.
  6. Promotes healthy skin and hair.
  7. Essential for normal cell structure.
  8. Involved in the formation of red blood cells.
  9. Protects lungs against injury from air pollution and helps preserve tissues.

As you can see the above vitamins are essential for your body to be healthy and function correctly. People feel if their belly is full that they must have consumed enough nutrients for their body to function properly. Well that assumption is wrong because the nutrients are not in our food today.

Minerals, enzymes and vitamins in your body should not be viewed as independent substances, but rather as a cooperative synergistic operation. Thus, if you just purchasing one type vitamin by itself, for example B complex, you are wasting your money because the body needs enzymes to break it down and minerals to transport the nutrients to  the cellular level.

Vitamin Supplements – Why are they necessary for our good health?

In today’s diet it is critical to have vitamin supplements. For our good health and well- being, vitamin supplements are very necessary. Vitamins are essential for specific metabolic reactions of the cell and are required for normal growth, development, health, longevity and life itself.

You might ask, “Don’t we get enough vitamins from the foods we eat?” and if so, why do we need vitamin supplements?  We don’t get the necessary vitamins our body needs to function healthy. Due to our poor diets, lack of nutrients in our soils, pesticides and toxins, we need vitamin supplements to get the proper nutrients that our body so desperately needs to stay healthy.

According to Joel D. Wallach in the book “Rare Earths Forbidden Cures”, vitamins regulate metabolism, facilitate the conversion of fat and carbohydrate to energy and are required for the formation and repair of tissues in embryos, children, teens, adults and seniors.”

A good Multi-Vitamin supplement containing anti-oxidants, enzymes, B-complex, Vitamin D, Vitamin E for complete nutritional support. Recent scientific studies have linked free radical formations to degenerative diseases associated with the aging process. Free radical formations occur when body fat reacts with oxygen. Their formation is enhanced by exposure to toxic chemicals in food, water, air, radiation, and excessive sunlight.

Not all vitamin supplements are the same. Make sure the vitamin supplement is in a capsule not a tablet because a capsule will break down more easily in the body. Make sure the vitamin supplement has all natural ingredients. Watch out for vitamin supplements that have too much fillers.

Have you ever gone to a health food store to look for supplements? Do you feel over whelmed by all the choices?

And you don’t have a clue what to take!

Wouldn't it be great to have all that guess work done for you?

The vitamin supplement that I recommend and use is the Inner Cellular Energy Multi-Vitamin.  This contains all the vitamins your body needs on a daily basis and it comes in a capsule form.
